Highschool/Secondary School Preparation

Because of the importance of science and mathematics to engineering, high school students who aspire to a career in engineering are encouraged to take as many of these courses as possible. In particular, high school preparation should include four years of mathematics and four years of science emphasizing algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, chemistry, physics and biology.
